Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of the Terms)

  1. The Company posts the contents of these Terms on a screen within the Service or on a linked screen so that Members can easily become acquainted with them.
  2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that doing so does not violate applicable laws, including the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions (「약관의 규제에 관한 법률」), the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (「정보통신망 이용촉진 및 정보보호 등에 관한 법률」), the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (「전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률」) and the Act on the Protection, Use, etc. of Location Information (「위치정보의 보호 및 이용 등에 관한 법률」).
  3. When the Company amends the Terms, it shall give notice within the Service, specifying the effective date and the reasons for the amendment, from 7 days before the effective date. However, where a change is unfavorable to Members or material, the Company shall give notice from 30 days before the effective date and shall notify Members individually by in-app notification or other means.
  4. If a Member continues to use the Service without expressing an intention to reject the amended Terms by their effective date, the Member shall be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms. A Member who does not agree to the amended Terms may terminate the service agreement (withdraw membership).

Article 4 (Rules Outside the Terms)

Matters not provided for in these Terms and the interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by the Privacy Policy, the Location-Based Services Terms, the operating policies and paid service information posted by the Company on the Service screens, applicable laws, or commercial practice.

Chapter 2 Service Agreement and Accounts

Article 5 (Conclusion of the Service Agreement)

  1. The service agreement is concluded when a person wishing to use the Service agrees to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Location-Based Services Terms, etc., applies for membership in accordance with the procedures set by the Company, such as phone number verification, and the Company accepts the application.
  2. The Service may be used only by persons aged 18 or older. Persons under the age of 18 may not sign up, and if it is confirmed after sign-up that a Member is under the age of 18, the Company may terminate the service agreement.
  3. To prevent fraudulent use, the Company may allow only one Account to be linked to one phone number, and may restrict a phone number that was linked to a withdrawn Account from being linked to a new Account for a period determined by the Company.
  4. The Company may decline, or subsequently terminate the service agreement for, an application falling under any of the following:
    • Where the applicant has misappropriated another person's information or phone number or has provided false information
    • Where the applicant's use has previously been restricted or the applicant has previously lost membership status due to a violation of these Terms
    • Where the applicant intends to use the Service for an improper purpose (advertising, sales, fraud, improper acquisition of Points or benefits, etc.)
    • Other cases that violate applicable laws or the Company's policies

Article 6 (Changes to Member Information and Account Management)

  1. Members may view and modify their Profile and member information through the settings screen within the Service.
  2. Members are responsible for managing the phone number and device linked to their Account themselves, and must not allow any third party to use them. The Company shall not be liable for any damage arising from a Member's negligent management (including payments for paid services and use of Points). However, this shall not apply where there is intent or negligence on the part of the Company.
  3. If a Member becomes aware that his or her Account has been misappropriated or is being used by a third party, the Member shall immediately notify the Company and follow the Company's instructions.

Article 7 (Protection of Personal Information)

The Company endeavors to protect Members' personal information in accordance with applicable laws, and matters concerning the collection, use, retention, destruction, etc. of personal information are governed by the separate Privacy Policy.

Article 8 (Use of Location Information)

  1. The Company uses location information with the Member's consent in order to provide the core functions of the Service, such as displaying nearby Members and Moments and displaying the distance between Members. In these functions, only approximate distance information, not the Member's exact location, is displayed to other Members.
  2. When a Member uses the location sharing function, the coordinates, address/place name and map image of the location selected by the Member on the map are transmitted to the chat partner chosen by the Member and remain in the chat history. Since the exact location is disclosed to the other party in this case, the Member must carefully decide for himself or herself whether to share, with whom to share and which location to share.
  3. Location sharing messages that have already been sent may remain on the other party's device and in the chat history, and the Company cannot prevent the other party from saving them or forwarding them to others.
  4. Members may refuse or stop providing location information at any time in their device settings. In this case, however, they will be unable to use all or some of the location-based functions.
  5. Specific matters concerning the collection, use, provision and protection of location information are governed by the Location-Based Services Terms and the Privacy Policy.

Chapter 3 Use of the Service

Article 9 (Content of the Service)

The services provided by the Company to Members are as follows:

  1. Service for exploring nearby Members and Moments
  2. Service for creating and viewing Moments

  1. In principle, the Service is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
  2. The Company may temporarily suspend all or part of the Service where there are unavoidable reasons, such as inspection or replacement of equipment, breakdowns, interruption of communications, natural disasters, or failures of or policy changes in external services such as app marketplaces, cloud services, SMS verification and artificial intelligence models, and shall give prior notice where possible.
  3. The Company may change or terminate the content of the Service (including the scope of functions provided free of charge and event/promotion benefits) as necessary for operational or technical reasons, and shall give prior notice of material changes within the Service. Where the content of paid services is changed to the disadvantage of Members, Article 22 shall apply.
  4. If the Company terminates the entire Service due to the discontinuation of its business or otherwise, it shall give notice within the Service no later than 30 days before the termination date, and paid services already purchased shall be handled in accordance with Article 21 and applicable laws.

Article 11 (Translation Function)

  1. Translations are generated automatically by machine translation technology and may differ from the meaning, nuance or tone of the original text or may be inaccurate. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose of translation results.
  2. Members must not make important decisions (such as arranging a meeting, financial transactions, contracts, or decisions concerning health or safety) based solely on translation results, and must check the original text or confirm directly with the other party where necessary. The Company shall not be liable for any misunderstanding, dispute or damage arising from reliance on translation results. However, this shall not apply where there is intent or gross negligence on the part of the Company.
  3. When AI translation is used, the content of the message to be translated is transmitted to an external artificial intelligence model provider for translation processing. Details are governed by the Privacy Policy.
  4. For the operation of the Service, the Company may set limits on AI translation, such as the number of uses and message length, and where such limits are exceeded or AI translation is unavailable, the Company may provide Basic translation instead or may not provide translation.

Article 12 (Obligations of Members and Prohibited Acts)

Members shall comply with applicable laws, these Terms, the operating policies and the notices within the Service, and shall not engage in any of the following acts:

  1. Registering false information or impersonating another person by misappropriating another person's photos, information or phone number
  2. Use of the Service by a person under the age of 18, or attempting to date or meet minors
  3. Posting or transmitting obscene or sexually explicit Posts, illegally filmed material, photos of another person's body without that person's consent, etc.
  4. Arranging, soliciting or proposing illegal meetings such as prostitution or "conditional meetings" (paid dating)
  5. Demanding money or property benefits, soliciting investment, gambling, pyramid schemes, etc., or attempting fraud (such as romance scams)
  6. Sending advertising, promotional, sales or spam messages, or inducing sign-up to external services
  7. Insulting, defaming or threatening other Members, or harassing or stalking them, such as by repeatedly contacting them against their wishes
  8. Engaging in discriminatory or hateful expression based on race, nationality, gender, religion, disability, etc.
  9. Collecting, storing or disclosing other Members' personal information (contact details, location, shared locations, etc.) without consent, or using such information to visit or track the other party
  10. Sharing a false location or using location sharing to lure other Members to dangerous places
  11. Hacking the Service or using it by abnormal means (automated programs, location spoofing, multiple accounts, etc.)
  12. Abusing the payment cancellation or refund system, or acquiring, trading or transferring Points or benefits by improper means
  13. Infringing the intellectual property rights, such as copyrights, of the Company or third parties
  14. Other acts that violate applicable laws or are contrary to good morals or other social order

Article 13 (Rights to and Use of Posts)

  1. The copyright in Posts posted by a Member on the Service belongs to that Member.
  2. Members permit the Company to use Posts free of charge (including reproduction, transmission, display, translation and format conversion such as thumbnail generation) to the extent necessary for the operation, display, translation, promotion and improvement of the Service. This permission terminates when the Post is deleted or the Member withdraws. However, chat messages and the like that have already been delivered to other Members are excluded.
  3. Members bear full responsibility for their Posts and shall post only Posts that do not infringe the rights of others.

Article 14 (Management of Posts)

  1. If the Company determines that a Post violates these Terms or applicable laws, it may delete the Post or restrict its display without prior notice.
  2. The Company has no obligation to review Posts in advance and has no obligation to monitor or retain all Posts.
  3. A person who believes that his or her rights have been infringed may request the Company to delete the Post, etc., and the Company shall take action in accordance with applicable laws.

Article 15 (Reporting, Blocking and Restriction of Use)

  1. Members may report Members or Posts that violate these Terms to the Company through the reporting function within the Service, and may block Members they do not wish to interact with.
  2. If a Member violates these Terms or interferes with the normal operation of the Service, the Company may take measures such as a warning, temporary suspension of use, or permanent suspension of use (loss of membership status), depending on the severity of the violation.
  3. In the case of serious violations, such as distribution of illegally filmed material, arranging prostitution, acts involving minors, fraud, stalking or fraudulent use of payments, the Company may immediately and permanently suspend use without prior warning, and may report to investigative agencies or provide materials to them in accordance with applicable laws.
  4. Where use has been restricted for reasons attributable to the Member, the Company shall not compensate for any Plus period or Points that could not be used during the restriction period. However, this shall not apply where a refund is required under applicable laws.
  5. Members may file an objection to a restriction of use in accordance with the procedures set by the Company.

Article 16 (Responsibility for Disputes and Incidents Between Members)

  1. The Company provides only an online means (platform) for interaction between Members and is not a party to any relationship between Members, including conversations, meetings, dating, location sharing and financial transactions.
  2. Any and all problems arising in the course of online or offline meetings, dating, transactions or location sharing with Members encountered while using the Service or through the Service, including conflicts, disputes, accidents, criminal victimization and resulting mental, physical or property damage, shall be resolved between the Members concerned, and the Company shall not be liable therefor.
  3. The Company does not verify or guarantee a Member's identity, age, occupation, marital status, criminal record, or the truthfulness of Posts, Profiles or shared locations. Phone number verification is merely a procedure to prevent duplicate accounts and does not guarantee a Member's identity or trustworthiness. Members shall decide for themselves whether to interact and meet with other Members and shall bear responsibility for the consequences.
  4. Members may not make any claim, including a claim for damages, against the Company in connection with the disputes and incidents referred to in paragraph 2.
  5. If the Company becomes subject to a lawsuit, claim, administrative disposition, etc. from a third party because a Member has violated these Terms or applicable laws or has abused the Service, the Member shall indemnify the Company at his or her own expense and responsibility and shall compensate the Company for all damages incurred (including reasonable attorneys' fees).
  6. Paragraphs 2 through 5 shall not apply where damage has arisen from the intent or gross negligence of the Company.
  7. Members shall take care of their own safety, such as by using public places for offline meetings and refusing requests for personal information, money, or the exact location of their residence, and if they discover dangerous or suspicious conduct, they shall immediately use the reporting function or report it to an investigative agency.

Chapter 4 Paid Services

Article 17 (Use of and Payment for Paid Services)

  1. The Company provides paid services such as Points, Plus subscriptions and AI translation passes, and displays the content, price, period of use, conditions of use, fair use limits, etc. of each paid service on the Service screen before purchase.
  2. Paid services may be purchased only through in-app payment of the app marketplace, and payment processing, including payment methods, payment authorization and issuance of receipts, is governed by the terms and policies of the relevant app marketplace. The Company does not collect or retain payment method information such as Members' card numbers.
  3. Prices are displayed and charged in the currency and amount set by the app marketplace according to the country of the Member's app marketplace account, and whether taxes are included and the application of exchange rates are governed by the policies of the app marketplace.
  4. The provision of paid services after payment may be delayed due to app marketplace failures, payment delays, network errors, etc., and the Company shall provide them as soon as the payment is confirmed. If the payment is not confirmed, the Member may request confirmation by submitting proof of payment, such as an app marketplace receipt.

Article 18 (Points)

  1. Paid Points means Points purchased by a Member (including bonus Points granted together with the purchase), and unless otherwise notified, they have no expiration date. However, bonus Points are not eligible for refund.
  2. Free Points (Points granted free of charge as a sign-up gift, through events, as rewards, etc.) automatically expire upon the lapse of the validity period notified at the time of grant (30 days from the date of grant if no separate notice is given) and are not refunded.
  3. When Points are used, free Points whose validity period ends first are deducted first, and the detailed order of deduction is displayed on the Service screen.
  4. Points cannot be exchanged for cash, may not be transferred, lent or sold to another Account, and may not be traded between Members.
  5. The amount deducted for functions that deduct Points, such as chat requests, and the conditions for return (e.g., where a request expires because the other party does not respond) are governed by the criteria displayed on the Service screen.
  6. If a Member withdraws or the service agreement is terminated, the remaining Points expire. Before withdrawal, Members may request a refund of refundable paid Points in accordance with Article 20.
  7. If Points are erroneously granted or deducted due to a system error or the like, the Company may correct them, and if a Member has acquired Points by improper means, the Company may reclaim such Points.

Article 19 (Plus Subscriptions and AI Translation Passes)

  1. Plus is a recurring payment product that automatically renews through the app marketplace at the interval selected at the time of purchase, such as monthly or annually. Unless the Member cancels it in the subscription management screen of the app marketplace before the renewal date, it is automatically charged and renewed on the same terms.
  2. Plus can be cancelled only in the subscription management screen of the app marketplace, and even after cancellation, Plus benefits remain available until the end of the period already paid for. Deleting the app or withdrawing membership alone does not cancel the recurring payment in the app marketplace, so Members must cancel it directly in the app marketplace.
  3. Even the "unlimited" benefits of Plus may be subject to fair use limits, such as a daily number of uses, to ensure the stable operation of the Service and prevent abuse (such as the use of automated programs), and the specific criteria are displayed on the Service screen. Use exceeding the limit may be restricted for that day, or may be continued by using Points as guided on the Service screen.
  4. AI translation passes are provided in the form of a number of uses, etc. topped up with Points, and the top-up units, prices and limits are displayed on the Service screen. If a Member has enabled automatic top-up, when the remaining number of uses falls to or below the threshold displayed on the Service screen, Points are automatically deducted from the Member's balance to top up, and the Member may turn off automatic top-up in the settings at any time.
  5. Promotional benefits provided free of charge by the Company to new Members and others, such as Plus trials and free AI translation uses, may have their conditions changed or be terminated in accordance with the Company's policies and are not eligible for refund or compensation.

Article 20 (Withdrawal of Subscription and Refunds)

  1. Payment cancellations and refunds for paid services paid through an app marketplace must be requested from the app marketplace in accordance with the refund policy and procedures of that app marketplace. For Apple App Store payments, Apple decides whether to grant a refund, and the Company cannot issue refunds directly. Google Play payments are governed by Google Play's policies, and the Company may assist with refunds through Google Play where necessary.
  2. In accordance with applicable laws, including the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Members may withdraw their subscription (purchase) for paid Points that have not been used at all within 7 days from the date of purchase or the date on which they become available for use, and the Company shall cooperate in accordance with the procedures of the app marketplace.
  3. In the following cases, withdrawal of subscription and refunds are restricted to the extent permitted by applicable laws. The Company displays these restrictions on the purchase screen, etc.
    • Where some or all of the purchased Points have been used (the used portion)
    • Bonus Points, free Points and benefits received through promotions
    • The already elapsed period of a Plus subscription whose use has commenced, and cases where its value has been significantly diminished by partial use
    • Already used portions of digital content whose use commences immediately upon top-up, such as AI translation passes
  4. Where a payment is cancelled or refunded in the app marketplace, the Company shall reclaim the Points (including bonus Points) and benefits such as Plus granted for that payment. If the Member has already used such Points, the Member's Points balance may become negative, and the Company may restrict the use of paid functions until the balance is restored.
  5. Where a Member has been unable to use paid services for reasons attributable to the Company, the Company shall take appropriate measures, such as extending the period of use, re-granting Points or issuing a refund, in accordance with applicable laws and the Content User Protection Guidelines (「콘텐츠이용자보호지침」), etc.
  6. If a Member repeatedly abuses the payment cancellation or refund system, the Company may restrict the use of paid services or terminate the service agreement.

Article 21 (Termination of Paid Services)

If the Company terminates all or part of the paid services, it shall give notice within the Service no later than 30 days before the termination date. In this case, remaining paid Points and Plus subscriptions with a remaining period of use shall be compensated by a refund or other benefits in accordance with applicable laws and the policies of the app marketplace, while free Points and promotional benefits are not subject to compensation.

Article 22 (Changes to Paid Services)

  1. The Company may change the prices, benefits, fair use limits, etc. of paid services, and shall give notice of the changes within the Service from 7 days before the effective date (30 days before in the case of changes unfavorable to Members).
  2. If the price of Plus increases, Members will be informed in accordance with the policies of the app marketplace, and if a Member does not agree, the subscription may not be renewed from the next renewal date.
  3. The value (number of Points) of paid Points purchased before a change shall not be changed.

Chapter 5 Miscellaneous

Article 23 (Notifications and Advertising)

  1. The Company may provide Members with information necessary for using the Service (chat requests, new messages, payment/subscription status, announcements, etc.) through app push notifications and other means, and Members may turn off notifications in their device or Service settings.
  2. The Company may display advertisements on Service screens, and shall send advertising information for commercial purposes only where the Member has given separate consent.

Article 24 (Withdrawal of Membership and Loss of Membership Status)

  1. Members may apply for termination of the service agreement (withdrawal of membership) at any time through the menu within the Service, and the Company shall process it immediately in accordance with applicable laws.
  2. Upon withdrawal, the Member's Profile, Moments, etc. are deleted or made private, the remaining Points and benefits expire, and information required to be retained under applicable laws is retained for a certain period and then destroyed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
  3. Chat messages, photos, shared locations, etc. sent to other Members before withdrawal may remain in the chat history of the other Members.
  4. Withdrawal of membership does not cancel recurring payments in the app marketplace. Members must cancel their Plus subscription directly in the app marketplace before withdrawal, and the Company shall not be liable for charges incurred due to failure to cancel.
  5. The Company may revoke a Member's membership status if the Member commits a serious violation referred to in Article 15.

Article 25 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Company shall be exempt from liability where it is unable to provide the Service due to force majeure, such as natural disasters, war, terrorism, infectious diseases, power outages, communication failures or government measures.
  2. The Company shall not be liable for damage caused by failures, policy changes or service interruptions of third-party services beyond the Company's control, such as app marketplaces, telecommunications carriers, and providers of cloud, push notification, SMS verification, map and artificial intelligence model services.
  3. The Company shall not be liable for service disruptions or damage caused by reasons attributable to the Member (device or network environment, failure to update the app, changes to settings, negligent account management, etc.).
  4. The Company shall not be liable for the reliability, accuracy, etc. of Posts posted or transmitted by Members, and has no obligation to intervene in disputes arising through the Service between Members or between a Member and a third party.
  5. Location information may contain errors depending on the device's GPS and network conditions, etc., and map and address/place name information is based on the data of the map provider. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy of location, distance, map or address information, and shall not be liable for damage arising in the course of traveling or meeting in reliance on such information.
  6. Unless otherwise specifically provided by applicable laws, the Company shall not be liable for damages in connection with the use of services provided free of charge (including free functions, free Points and promotional benefits).
  7. The Company does not guarantee any particular outcome expected by Members from using the Service, such as profits or the success of meetings or relationships, and shall not be liable for damage caused by information obtained by Members through the Service.
  8. Members shall keep important information, such as chat contents and photos, themselves, and the Company has no obligation to restore information deleted due to withdrawal of membership, deletion of Posts, leaving a chat room, expiry of the retention period, etc.
  9. The paragraphs of this Article shall not apply to damage caused by the intent or gross negligence of the Company or to other cases where liability cannot be excluded under applicable laws.

Article 26 (Compensation for Damages)

  1. If the Company or a Member causes damage to the other party by violating these Terms, it shall be liable to compensate for such damage. However, this shall not apply where there is no intent or negligence.
  2. Where the Company is liable to compensate a Member for damages, the Company's liability shall be limited to ordinary damages actually incurred by the Member, and the Company shall be liable for damages arising from special circumstances, indirect damages, lost profits, etc. only where the Company knew or could have known of such circumstances.
  3. Unless otherwise provided by applicable laws, the amount the Company compensates in connection with paid services shall be limited to the amount paid by the Member for the relevant paid service during the 3 months immediately preceding the date on which the damage occurred.
  4. Paragraphs 2 and 3 shall not apply to damage caused by the intent or gross negligence of the Company or to damage to human life or body.

Article 27 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. The laws of the Republic of Korea shall apply to these Terms and to disputes concerning the use of the Service.
  2. Lawsuits concerning disputes arising between the Company and a Member in connection with the use of the Service shall be filed with the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act (「민사소송법」).
  3. These Terms have been prepared in Korean, and versions translated into other languages are provided to assist Members' understanding. In the event of any discrepancy between a translated version and the Korean Terms, the Korean Terms shall prevail.

These Terms take effect on October 10, 2026. The previous Terms (version 1.0.0) are replaced by these Terms.
